To create a Rollover button, you will need to customize the button's Three-States (Normal State, Mouseover State, Mouseclick State).

Rollover Buttons: (Move your mouse pointer and click over the buttons to see the rollover effect)

To customize the Three-State simply go to Menu -> File -> Switch to Three-State button. After you switch to Three-State button you will be able to customize each state individually or simultaneously (more than one state at the same time).

To customize a specific state, simply click on the check box next to it and customize the features you want to apply. If on the other hand you wish to customize more than one state simultaneously, simply hold down the 'Ctrl' key to select the states that you want to edit.

When customizing more than one state simultaneously, you need to keep in mind that the attributes will also take effect on the other state(s) you have chosen. An example would be if you have chosen 2 states and change the text color, the color you choose will also take effect on the second state.

The only feature that is not influenced by the number of States selected are the Dimensions (Width and Height). No matter how many states you have chosen (1, 2, or 3) to edit, if you edit the width and height the changes will take effect on all three states.

Moreover, you may also manually move the button, button shadow, text, and text shadow simply by locating the cursor on the text for example and moving it to the desired location.

Finally, you can also edit manually the margins and graphic size by locating the cursor on the button borders and moving the margins accordingly. You will be able to see the values you have given to the margins as you customize them.

Exporting your Rollover buttons:

To export your Rollover button click on the Export button in the control panel and select the destination and format of the file in which the button will be exported (.jpeg, .gif, .png). You can also determine the quality depending on the format selected that the button will have. In other words, if you select the .jpg you can define the quality of the button as Very Low, Low, Medium, High, Very High. If you select the .png format you can determine whether you want the button to be saved with an 8bit, 24bit or 32 bit (Alpha) value. The 32 bit value delivers transparency. Finally if you select the .gif format you will be able to choose between 1-8 bit value.

After you have entered the file name, destinaltion and selected the format pf your button, you can preview the rollover button you have created simply by clicking on the Preview button.

A window will open highlighting where each of the three files (Normal, Mouseover, Mouseclick) have been exported to , the sample html page created where you will be able to see your rollover button and the Javascript code you will have to add to your HTML pages (Use the Copy option to copy the entire code to your web page).
